WHATEVER YOU’RE DOING RIGHT NOW, WHEREVER GOD HAS YOU

you are sent in the full power and authority of the Holy Spirit.

MISSIONARY MEANS

sent one

AND IN CHRIST, THAT’S EACH OF US

How cool is that?

And scary, and overwhelming, and confusing? Me too, friend.

I spent thirteen years touring the world as a musician, and I always thought my life's purpose would look like traveling and writing in some way.

Then, everything I built it on came apart. The band paused, my dad passed away, and I had to figure out what "sent" actually meant for me now as a young adult independent of my family.

Missions have always been a vital part of my life.

Growing up, my siblings and I visited nursing homes with our mom, and by the time I was ten, we'd started a band with the main purpose of merging music and ministry.

As a teenager, we taught music camps and performed across Serbia, Romania, Hungary, and Montenegro every summer. I learned so much about people, culture, and faith years before I ever began writing seriously. My writing was actually birthed out of those unique and mature experiences.

Then things changed.

Our music career slowed, doors closed we didn't expect, and my dad passed away not long after our last show. It was the final blow to my fragile grip on reality and somehow the beginning of something I couldn't have imagined yet.

In November 2024, at an international writers' conference in Puebla, Mexico, I discovered Media Associates International (MAI) for the first time.

MAI exists to satisfy global hunger for the written word by connecting and equipping Christian writers, editors, and publishers to create excellent content that strengthens the Church and influences society.

International and stories: two things I've loved my whole life, suddenly in the same place.

So, after over a year of prayer and conversations, I’m slowly onboarding into MAI as a marketing strategist and executive assistant, bringing my love of storytelling, different cultures, and Jesus into one missional focus. I won't be paid for this work, and I'll travel across the country and internationally as it grows. None of it looks like the traditional missionary stories I grew up on, but I'm no less sent because of that.

This is still very new, but everything I've lived through, every culture, every loss, every unexpected closed or open door, has culminated into this.

How you can help:

I need to build a team of supporters to partner with me in prayer and finances.

My goal is 30 people or churches giving $100 a month to make this all possible. $100 a month helps me visualize the finish line, but please consider giving whatever Holy Spirit leads you to.

Stories from the Sent

Every story deserves to be told, especially the ones that glorify Yahweh.
